Safari Experiences
Sabi Sand Game Reserve
-
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve dates back to the 1898 and has, since its inception, remained one of the most exclusive destinations to go on a safari. The park is adjacent to Kruger National Park and so shares much of the same wildlife as its neighbor. There is certainly an abundance of wildlife in this part of South Africa, so you can expect to tick plenty of boxes on your safari in Sabi Sands. The lodges here are of an extremely high calibre, with many of South Africa’s top lodges located here in the park.
Kruger National Park
-
Kruger National Park is the most popular park in South Africa and certainly the most known internationally. And for good reason! Kruger is one of Africa’s largest game reserves and is thus teaming with wildlife at every turn. It has a high density of animals including the Big 5: Lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. There are of course hundreds of other mammal species here in the park, many of which you will encounter throughout your stay. So if you’re looking for a safari that ticks all the boxes, you can’t go wrong with choosing Kruger.
Cape Town
-
The city that meets the sea, Cape Town is one of the most scenic cities on earth. The city is located on a peninsula underneath the imposing and impressive Table Mountain, which is best accessed via a rotating cable car or a network of trails that take day hikers to the summit.
“In His Prime”, John Banovich
“South Africa is the most beautiful place on earth. Admittedly, I am biased but when you combine the natural beauty... and the fact that the region is a haven for Africa's most splendid wildlife. Then I think that we have been blessed with a truly wonderful land.”
- Nelson Mandela
Home to the oldest mountain in the world and the largest game reserve in the world, South Africa is widely considered to be an ultimate travel destination for many. With 471,000 square miles of land, South Africa is brimming with diversity and a culturally enriching landscape.
“Why is it you can never hope to describe the emotion Africa creates? You are lifted. Out of whatever pit, unbound from whatever tie, released from whatever fear. You are lifted and you see it all from above.”
- Francesca Marciano
